Window Blind Valance Falling Down?
Budget blinds with the plastic bracket will eventually get brittle and break when you go to dust, wipe them down, or just by themselves. Here is a little hack I do to hang them back up that will last the lifetime of the blind.

      @@soupnfresh housekeeping camp site 230, it floods in rain, the ranger came to our site to check on us when the storm hit. They actually have a list of sites that have issues in the rain. They gave us a shovel and we dug ditches to redirect the water.

      Yeah first day they wore them, after we knew how slow the river was flowing and how shallow it was most 1 to 2 feet we chose not to wear them most of the time. Just on the rock jumping and rope swing they wore them.

      Kids just being kids... The river is really low this time of year much is less than 2 feet a number of areas just 6 to 8 inches, adults have to walk the kayaks in those low spots. Also flow is slow, pretty much a lazy river.

    You have to install those mid coil buddy. To your other point they are made from a more resistant material than rubber, which is why they are more expensive and incredibly more long lasting

    • @LetsDoThis321
      @LetsDoThis321 17 днів тому

      They are approximately mid coil, it's either a little bit high or a little bit low when you get the split pointing outwards (which is critical, otherwise the spring could spit them out). Note the coil goes quite deep into the lower pocket. BTW, they have been working great still have them installed 2 years and 30,000 miles later.

      @paul0631 I do quite a bit of resawing with this bandsaw, lots of 2x4's and also split 1x6's on edge in to 3 thin planks. An odd thing I found this saw useful for was with an 1/8" blade I've cut a stack of colored construction paper into figurines and designs for kid projects.

      @eliasujashvili7113 Yeah true, but it's the oldest thing I got LoL. The story behind it was that one of my parents friend was going to throw it out. They had bought a new bench top drill press and at the time I was around 8 to 10 years old and I said I'll take it. I cleaned it all up and have used it ever since. The only reason I have it is because it still working hard and drilling holes I'm not an antique collector.

    The problem is that the inside of a palm tree is soft so the only thing holding those bolts is the pseudobark. That's a lot of leverage for just bolts in what is essentially it's skin. Hopefully the worm clamp doesn't choke the palm tree.

    • @LetsDoThis321
      @LetsDoThis321 Місяць тому

      @michaelwoodward2264 forsure screws and lags don't grip onto much in all in that spunge. I have read on reddit folks driving a stainless steel bolt all the way through out the other end and slapping a washer and bolt on it, others just used straps. Seeing that mature palm trunks don't grow in diameter a strap will do just fine in my opinion. I've cabled rapped other palms for sail shads and they have done just fine for the past 10 years.

    Scary AF to see this happen, can’t imagine some poor guy being under that jack. That said…..you re completely jacking from the wrong spot (the control arm), and I doubt that jack is even rated for that trucks weight. Very good example to people though…of what not to do. It’s actually very educational
